This Privacy Policy explains how TOMOSHIBI LLC ("we," "our," or "us") handles information when you use PortShot (the "App").
1. Summary
- PortShot is an iPad app for using a USB-C external UVC camera as a simple capture monitor
- Photos, videos, and timelapse frames captured in the App are stored inside the App by default
- The App does not save captures to Photos / Camera Roll unless you explicitly export or share them
- Usage analytics and crash diagnostics are optional and can be turned on or off in the App
- Payments for PortShot Pro are processed by Apple
2. Information Stored in the App
2.1 Media and Library Data
The App may store the following data inside the App on your device:
- Captured photos, videos, and timelapse frames
- Thumbnails and metadata needed to display and manage the in-app library
- App settings such as appearance, language, accent color, camera flip settings, video audio source, and telemetry choices
2.2 Permissions
- Camera access is required to show the live preview from a connected camera and to capture media
- Microphone access may be used only if you choose to record video with audio
3. Analytics and Crash Diagnostics
If you enable these options, the App may send limited technical and usage information such as:
- Screen views and basic interaction events related to capture, paywall display, purchases, and entitlement sync
- App version, device information, and OS version
- Technical error, crash, and performance information needed to investigate failures
If you leave these settings off, the App will not send those analytics or crash diagnostics.
4. Purchases
- PortShot Pro purchases and restores are processed by Apple
- We do not receive your full payment card or billing details
- We may receive purchase status or transaction-related information needed to confirm access
5. Feedback and Support
If you contact us or send feedback through the App, we may receive the information you provide, such as:
- Your message
- Your name and email address if you choose to include them
- App version and basic device information relevant to the issue
We use this information only to respond to your inquiry and improve support quality.

- Operate the live preview, capture, and in-app library features
- Store your captures and settings inside the App

- Captured media stays in app storage on your device unless you delete it or share/export it yourself
- Support, analytics, and diagnostic information may be retained only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above and as required by law

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
