These Terms of Use (the "Terms") set forth the conditions for using PortShot (the "App") provided by TOMOSHIBI LLC ("we," "our," or "us"). By using the App, you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.

1. Description of the App

PortShot is an iPad app designed to work with a USB-C external UVC camera. It lets users view a live preview, capture photos or videos, and manage those files inside the App.

The App is intended to keep captures separate from Photos / Camera Roll unless the user explicitly shares or exports them.

2. Supported Environment

The core features of the App require:

  • A compatible iPad
  • A compatible USB-C external UVC camera
  • A compatible cable, adapter, or hub if needed

We do not guarantee compatibility with every camera, cable, adapter, dock, or related accessory.

3. User Responsibility

Users are responsible for:

  • Preparing and maintaining their own device, camera, cable, adapter, dock, network connection, and Apple account environment
  • Confirming that they have the necessary rights to capture, store, use, share, or export the media they create with the App
  • Using the App in compliance with applicable laws and the rights of third parties

4. Free and Paid Features

The App may include a free usage limit and a paid PortShot Pro unlock.

Billing, charging, refunds, and restore handling are managed through Apple's systems. Users must also comply with Apple's applicable terms.

5. Prohibited Conduct

When using the App, users must not engage in any of the following:

  • Conduct that violates laws or public order and morals
  • Conduct that infringes the rights or interests of third parties
  • Reverse engineering, analysis, interference, or obstruction of the App or related services
  • Unauthorized attempts to access non-public parts of the App or related systems
  • Using the App to store, create, or distribute illegal or inappropriate content
  • Any other conduct that we deem inappropriate

6. Third-Party Services

The App may use third-party services such as Apple, Google Firebase Analytics, Sentry, and support-related service providers.

Use of these services may be subject to the terms and privacy policies of their respective providers.

7. Changes, Suspension, and Termination

We may change, suspend, or terminate all or part of the App at any time as necessary.

We may also restrict the App due to maintenance, incident response, limitations of external services, legal compliance requirements, or other unavoidable reasons.

8. Disclaimer

We do not guarantee that:

  • The App will be available continuously
  • The App will operate without errors or malfunctions
  • Every external camera or accessory will work with the App
  • The App will be fit for any particular purpose

We are not liable for any damages arising from the user's use of or inability to use the App, except in cases of our willful misconduct or gross negligence.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms as necessary. If any important changes are made, we will provide notice on the public page or within the App.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan.

If a dispute arises between us and a user in connection with the App, the court having jurisdiction over our principal place of business shall have exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance.
