Terms of Use

1. Scope and provider

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern Amadare (“App”), provided by TOMOSHIBI LLC (“we,” “us”). Please review these Terms before using the App. Our handling of information is described in the Privacy Policy .

Apple's applicable terms also govern App Store distribution, purchases, subscriptions, and Apple services. These Terms do not restrict rights granted to you by applicable law.

2. The App and its requirements

The App supports time-block planning, focus and break timers, mood check-ins, and reviewing time. It does not automatically evaluate or guarantee your activity, concentration, habit formation, or results.

The App supports Mac, iPhone, and iPad. Features and presentation may vary by device and OS. See Support and the App Store compatibility information for the distributed version. Apple Watch is not included in the initial release.

You are responsible for appropriately obtaining and managing the required device, connection, permissions, and Apple Account. Network and iCloud charges are your responsibility.

3. Free and Pro

Free includes planning, regular timers, mood check-ins, all standard Blocks, and unlimited Pomodoro with adjustable settings. Records displays the most recent 7 days, including today, based on your start-of-day setting. Records are not deleted merely because they fall outside this range.

An active Pro entitlement enables custom Block creation and editing, full history with week, month, and year views, Pro effects, cross-device iCloud sync, and explicit video upload and download.

When Pro expires, the Free feature scope applies. Plans, records, custom Blocks, and imported videos are not deleted solely because Pro expires. Existing custom Blocks can still be placed, but creation, editing, and sync stop. Pro effect selections are retained while a Free effect is displayed.

4. Purchases, renewal, and restoration

New Pro purchases are monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscriptions. Check the price, currency, duration, and conditions shown at purchase. No free trial or Family Sharing is offered. New lifetime purchases are not offered; recognition and restoration of existing valid lifetime entitlements remain supported.

Subscriptions renew unless canceled through Apple's procedures. If you do not want renewal, cancel in Apple's subscription management. Deleting the App or data, or turning sync off, does not cancel a subscription. Apple provides information about renewal dates, access periods, and cancellation status.

Use the same Apple Account used for the purchase when purchasing or restoring. Billing and refunds are processed through Apple. Refund eligibility is governed by applicable conditions and law.

5. Storage and sync

Plans, settings, records, and imported media are stored on the device. Enabling iCloud sync with Pro synchronizes supported plans, settings, and records through Apple's private CloudKit database. Videos are transferred through your upload and download actions. Focus-completion history follows the same Pro and sync-on requirements; see the Privacy Policy .

Sync does not guarantee a backup. Edits and deletions may propagate to other devices. Connectivity, available storage, the OS, and Apple services can cause delays or failures. Keep original media and any backups you need yourself.

Turning sync off, deleting the App, Pro expiration, and deleting data already stored in iCloud are different actions. Check the scope before deleting data.

6. Your content and intellectual property

Rights in plans, notes, images, videos, and audio you enter or import remain with you or the rightful owner. Using the App does not transfer ownership of this content to us.

You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to import, store, and sync content, and for respecting copyright, privacy, confidentiality, and other third-party rights.

Rights in the App's software, design, logos, text, and other materials belong to us or their rightful owners. Third-party software is subject to its applicable licenses.

7. Prohibited conduct

  • Unlawful use or infringement of third-party rights
  • Unauthorized access, interference with systems, or use of harmful software
  • Improperly modifying or bypassing purchase or entitlement checks
  • Unauthorized copying, modification, or reverse engineering, except as permitted by applicable law or licenses
  • False support reports or interference with other users or service operation

8. External services and privacy

The App uses Apple's purchase and sync services, optional analytics and diagnostics, and infrastructure for feedback you submit. Each provider's applicable conditions govern its services.

Usage Analytics and Crash Diagnostics are off by default. See the Privacy Policy for choices, information sent, the effect of changing settings, retention, and deletion.

9. Notifications, breaks, and use

Notifications, sounds, and full-screen alerts help you switch activities. They do not guarantee delivery at a scheduled time in every situation. Do not rely solely on the App for important deadlines or safety-related decisions.

Break or exercise prompts are general cues, not medical diagnosis, treatment, or advice. Use them according to your condition and surroundings, and close prompts or change settings as needed.

10. Changes, interruption, termination, and responsibility

We may change or interrupt the App for maintenance, failures, OS or external-service changes, legal requirements, or similar reasons. Where reasonably possible, we will provide advance notice in the App or on our website of material changes to the service or paid features, or termination, and act in accordance with applicable law and purchase conditions.

We do not guarantee that the App is free of defects, that data cannot be lost, that behavior is identical in every environment, or that particular results will be achieved. Our liability is governed by applicable law. These Terms do not exclude your rights under consumer-protection or other applicable laws.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms in accordance with applicable legal requirements. Changes, effective dates, and notices of material changes will be posted in the App or on our website. Where consent is legally required, we will follow the necessary procedures.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by Japanese law, without limiting mandatory protections applicable to you, including those of your place of residence. Unless applicable law provides otherwise, the court with jurisdiction over our principal place of business is an agreed court of first instance for disputes.
