1. Information We Collect
Feel the Count (the “App”) does not require account registration.
The App handles the following information on your device to provide its features.
- Song titles, BPM, repeat counts, count numbers, and accent settings
- Setlist names, optional dates, notes, and song order
- App settings such as free tempo settings, vibration and click sound settings, language settings, metronome color, and display correction
- Free usage count, number of saved items, and restriction unlock status through purchase
- Lightweight data for songs, setlists, and playback settings required for Apple Watch integration
If the user consents, the App may send the following information to external services for usage analysis and issue diagnostics.
- Events related to usage, such as screen views, feature usage, setting changes, and purchase flows
- Technical information such as app version, OS version, device type, language settings, and usage time
- Issue diagnostic information such as crashes, errors, performance problems, and stack traces
- Identifiers, session information, and accompanying diagnostic information generated by external services
We do not intentionally send externally, for analysis or diagnostics, content entered by the user such as song titles, setlist names, note text, BPM, or count settings. However, depending on the specifications of the OS or external service SDKs, or the content of technical information when an error occurs, accompanying information within the scope necessary for diagnostics may be included.
The App does not use ad delivery, ad tracking, AdMob, iCloud / CloudKit, storage of songs or setlists on proprietary servers, or account features.
2. Purpose of Use
Information collected or stored is used for the following purposes.
- To provide pre-song count checking, free tempo, song library, and setlist playback
- To sync songs, setlists, and playback settings between iPhone and Apple Watch
- To determine the free usage range and restriction unlock status after purchase
- To save app settings on the device and apply them again at the next launch
- To understand usage and help improve screens, flows, features, the free usage range, and purchase flows
- To investigate crashes and defects and improve stability and quality
- To confirm the content of inquiries and reply when inquiries are received
We do not use information for ad delivery or ad tracking purposes.
3. Third-Party Provision and External Services
The App uses the following external services.
- Apple: For the App Store, in-app purchases through StoreKit, purchase restoration, and Apple Watch integration
- Firebase Analytics / Google Analytics for Firebase: To understand usage such as screen views and feature usage when the user consents to usage analysis
- Sentry: To investigate technical issues such as crashes and errors when the user consents to issue diagnostics
- TOMOSHIBI APPS Contact Form: To receive inquiries from users
Purchase processing, billing, refunds, and restoration are managed through Apple’s systems. We do not receive complete payment information such as credit card numbers.
Information sent to Firebase Analytics / Google Analytics for Firebase and Sentry is handled in accordance with the terms and privacy policies of each service provider.
4. Consent and Settings Changes
Users can choose usage analysis and issue diagnostics on the initial screen or in the settings screen.
- If usage analysis is turned on, sending usage information through Firebase Analytics / Google Analytics for Firebase will be enabled.
- If issue diagnostics is turned on, sending diagnostic information about crashes and errors through Sentry will be enabled.
- If both are turned off, the App will not intentionally send information for these purposes.
These settings can be changed later from the settings screen in the App. Due to SDK or OS specifications, stop settings may be fully reflected from the next launch onward rather than immediately after the change.
5. Retention Period and Management
Songs, setlists, settings, free usage count, and restriction unlock status through purchase are saved in the App’s storage area on the device. Songs, setlists, and settings synced to Apple Watch may also be saved on the Apple Watch side.
The App does not save this data to proprietary servers or iCloud / CloudKit. Data on the device remains until the user deletes it within the App or uninstalls the App.
Purchase history is managed through Apple’s systems.
The retention period and deletion method for information sent to external services for usage analysis and issue diagnostics follow the specifications of each service provider. For information that we can confirm through management screens or similar means, we may retain it for the period necessary for improvement, investigation, auditing, and inquiry handling.
6. User Confirmation and Deletion
Users can edit, archive, and delete songs and setlists within the App. Synced data saved on Apple Watch may be deletable through operations on the Watch side.
If you want to delete all App data saved on the device, please uninstall the App. Please confirm purchase information, restore purchases, request refunds, and perform similar actions from the App Store or the Apple Account management screen.
If you want to stop sending usage analysis or issue diagnostics, please turn off the relevant items in the settings screen in the App.
Because there are no account features, there is no flow for account deletion or account-level data export.
7. Use by Minors
The App is not designed as an app primarily intended for children. If minors use the App, they should use it with parental consent or supervision as necessary.
8. Revisions
This Policy may be revised as necessary. If there are important changes, we will publish the updated content and last updated date on this page.
