Getting started
Install Stride Sonar on your paired iPhone and Apple Watch. Watch measures and records the run; iPhone plays heart-rate cues. Do not start Apple Workout at the same time. Check the volume and preview, check access under trial and purchase in Settings, then choose a running workout and start it.
Allow Watch HealthKit access for heart rate and workout saving. iPhone also requests access when reading history. Allow Watch location access to record routes. Without location data, the app is designed to save the basic workout without a route.
Missing or outdated cues
Check Watch fit, the iPhone connection, HealthKit access, volume, audio output and pause state. No cue plays before a heart-rate reading arrives. If no new reading arrives for 30–60 seconds, the last value is retained with a waiting indication; from 60 seconds, heart-rate cues wait for fresh data. Do not interpret an old reading as your current heart rate. Cues are designed to resume with fresh readings.
Pitch and intervals change by heart-rate zone; pulse count changes by heart-rate band. Cues are not synchronized to each heartbeat and do not provide a fixed stepping tempo. Starting a new workout from Watch requires a start check with the paired iPhone. After starting, Watch is designed to continue measuring and saving during a disconnection.
Trial, purchase and restoration
After the free download, you may start an optional 14-day trial yourself. Completing the introduction does not start it. New runs after the trial require a one-time unlock, priced at JPY 1,000 in Japan. Check the purchase screen for the actual price. No automatic charge or renewal follows. Settings, preview and existing history remain available before and after the trial. A workout in progress continues if the trial expires during the run.
If purchase or trial access is missing, choose restoration under trial and purchase in Settings. Purchase and trial acquisition are unavailable when products cannot be loaded. If asked to recheck time, restore automatic date and time and restore purchases if needed. Changing device time can affect trial expiry assessment.
History and deletion
History reads records saved in HealthKit. Choose deletion in history or workout detail and confirm to request removal from the Watch that saved the record. A failed connection or source check is not treated as successful deletion; check and retry. Removal of all related heart-rate samples or OS backups is not guaranteed.
Contact
In-app Feedback is disabled. Use the shared site contact and provide the app name, version, OS and steps that caused the problem. Do not include heart-rate history, location, routes, other health data or confidential purchase information. The policy is to retain inquiries as needed for handling and delete unnecessary personal information. Product-specific contact operations require confirmation before publication.
